About the VOTERISE Board of Directors

  • VOTERISE is committed to building an inclusive Board, meaning that we welcome Members across a wide range of political beliefs, gender, age, race, ethnicity, cultural heritage or nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, socioeconomic, ability or other statuses.

  • Board Member positions are volunteer.

  • New Board term lengths are for one year, with the option to renew for a three-year term. 

  • Board members are required to attend Board Meetings, which occur every 2-3 months and run for about 2 hours.

  • Board members must remain nonpartisan in their official VOTERISE capacity, but are welcome to participate in partisan activities outside of VOTERISE.

  • Board members are asked to actively participate in fundraising efforts and aid the organization in other in-kind help. 

Expectations as a Board Member

  • In your official capacity as a member of the Board, you agree to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully at all times.

  • You are required to regularly attend and participate in board meetings.

  • You agree to uphold our nonpartisan mission.
